Dartmouth Royal Regatta 28 August-2 September 2012
Throughout August, the ports of the West Country hosts a series of regattas, culminating in the Dartmouth Royal Regatta at the end of the month. It is our intention to take Extrapolation, our Swan 371, to this event and offer the chance to be part of serious racing and serious fun. The regatta has both a visit from the Red Arrows and a closing fireworks display on two different evenings.
The Dartmouth Royal Regatta begins with a passage race on 29 August and is followed by three days of “round the cans” short course racing in Start Bay. Our outline programme is for you to join the yacht in Dartmouth on the evening of Tuesday 28 August, ready for the passage race the following day. Departure from the yacht will be on the evening of Sunday 2 September.
During the time on board, included in the price will be:
- Race Skipper and mate.
- Breakfasts, lunch, soft drinks/water and snacks.
- Race fees.
- Moorings, fuel, gas.
- Use of waterproofs if required.
- Crew shirt with logo.
The only additional cost is the evening meal, for which clients can choose where to eat at the variety of restaurants in Dartmouth. As yet the full programme for the Dartmouth Royal Regatta has not been published, so please come back to us as this page will be updated as soon as details become available. Cost will be £450 per person, or £2,550 for a maximum of 6 clients for the whole event.
Places are available for mile builders from Dartmouth back to the Solent to return the yacht after the regatta.
